Main responsibilities: Design and release drawings for component, sub- assemblies and productsPerform new drawings and modifications via 3 D and 2 D CadDefine tolerances and fittings, materials, surface finishesProvide support to colleagues in the creation of bills of materialsIdentify opportunities for product cost reduction with project definition, execution of technical documentation and economic evaluationImplement changes for quality improvementProvide support to the prototyping and experimental verification phase of a new product, carrying out all the necessary testsSkills and experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (three-year or master's degree)Experience gained in the position for at least 5 years in R&D, in companies with mass production (automotive, home appliances, professional appliances,...)Good knowledge of written and spoken EnglishExcellent 3 D CAD knowledge (preferably Solid Edge)Excellent knowledge of mechanical drawing and designKnowledge of structural and fluid dynamics simulation tools (nice to have)Life testing and product validation skillsGood knowledge of the various technologies for manufacturing mechanical components/parts (sheet metal cutting and bending, sheet metal molding, plastic molding)Soft Skills Sharp in execution and reporting, the ideal candidate has an innovative and proactive spirit and has a propensity for problem solving, teamwork and sharing solutions.
