Marketing & Events Coordinator / Assistant Director SAIS Europe, the European campus of Johns Hopkins SAIS, is seeking a skilled professional to support its dynamic program of public events, conferences, and institutional communications. This full-time onsite role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and excited to work in a fast-paced international academic environment. Fluency in English and Italian is essential. The position serves as the operational hub for events and as a key partner to the Director of Marketing & Communications—helping plan and deliver high-profile events, manage guests and VIPs, coordinate vendors, produce event materials, and contribute to digital content, social media, and broader outreach efforts. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate a busy annual calendar of events and speaker engagements Oversee logistics, guest management, budgets, vendors, and student staff Create or coordinate event materials (programs, posters, signage, digital assets) Support social media, newsletters, web content, and multimedia storytelling Assist with press outreach and brand-aligned communications Inquiries and application materials (CV cover letter) should be sent to sais.eu.pubaffairs@jhu.edu.
