Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a charming guesthouse in the heart of Portofino. Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3‐Michelin‐star Cerea family. Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form. We are looking for a Panettiere (Pastry Chef) to join our DaV Restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
He/She reports to the Executive Chef.
Fullfil the operations of the Food & Beverage on DaV Restaurant - according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures;
Support the Chef de Rang with service;
Clean and set‐up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glass and silver for service;
Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them. Fluent in Italian and basic level of English;
Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred;
Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships;
We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido Mare and a career path;
