In this position, you will have a variety of responsibilities and be part of a dedicated and collaborative local HR team at Power Transformers. Ready to make a difference and contribute to a brighter future? Seize this exciting opportunity to become our HRBP for Power Transformer in Monselice at Hitachi Energy.
Your Responsibilities:
- Acting as a strategic partner to the Power Transformers business unit, offering guidance and support in all HR-related matters.
- Leading and overseeing all local HR activities.
- Collaborating with the leadership team to devise and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's objectives.
- Supporting the growth of the factory.
- Overseeing labor relations and trade unions on-site.
- Being a sparring partner for the management team.
- Backing organizational change initiatives such as restructuring, talent management, and succession planning.
- Teaming up with managers to identify training and development needs, create and deliver programs, and assess their effectiveness.
- Providing coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations matters and performance management.
- Monitoring and analyzing HR metrics to spot trends and suggest proactive solutions to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Working closely with HR colleagues across different business units and functions to exchange best practices and ensure consistency in HR processes and policies.
- Conducting routine HR audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions while looking out for your colleagues and the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record and several years of experience in negotiating labor relations (MUST).
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably within the power and energy industry, or another international company with a complex matrix organization (MUST).
- Comfortable working in a complex matrix organization, adept at navigating an international environment and balancing various stakeholders.
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices, labor relations, and legal regulations in Italy.
- Strong grasp of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with the collective bargaining agreement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data and offer valuable insights.
- A true team player.
- Showcase planning and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Italian and English, both written and spoken (MUST).
