Operations form the core of Amazon, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery to customers. Operations Managers drive excellence in safety, quality, and productivity across sites. As a leader at the site, you will manage teams, create operational plans, and strive for operational excellence to shape Amazon's future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
  • Lead operational teams, address issues, and enhance site performance
  • Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with support teams like HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
  • Develop and implement initiatives across sites to boost operational performance
A Day in the Life

As a leader at an operational site, you will facilitate communication between various teams and contribute to innovation. Your typical day involves engaging with different business areas, analyzing performance metrics, and preparing for fluctuations in demand. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and support to your team, fostering leadership and growth.

Basic Qualifications
  • A degree
  • Experience in people and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English, and intermediate proficiency in the local language
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Relevant experience in production, supply chain, or similar environments
Preferred Qualifications

If you meet the basic qualifications, we encourage you to apply. Preferred qualifications include experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, working in similar logistical environments, and proficiency in MS Office suite.
