Job Description Summary:

You will be responsible for providing formal technical and clinical training to customers: doctors and bio-medical engineers that have purchased a GE HealthCare Ultrasound product.

Responsibilities include on-going post-sale customer support, on-site clinical visits for education sessions.

Responsibilities will include also product demonstrations during pre-sale activities.

Locations:
Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Toscana.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and clinical information to customer by demonstrating the full range of product features and benefits.
  • Monitor and control customer satisfaction through continuing education trainings, optimization of the performances of the GE Healthcare equipment utilized by users.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing GE Healthcare product demonstration and workstation promotion as well as customer training.
  • Support product launches and advise the sales force during acquisition.
  • Work closely with the Account Managers, as well as other local team members, during multiple phases of the sales and implementation processes, helping to raise and develop commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor clinical trends, technologies and product introduction by competitors in order to help building commercial strategies and preference among customers.
  • Use product knowledge to assist commercial and marketing teams in developing sales tools.
  • Provide posttraining reports, regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs to the internal Sales and Service organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineer or related.
  • Two or more years of experience in medical diagnostic ultrasound devices market
  • Easy to establish relationship with people, open and flexible to work outside of the office.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide for trainings, sales meetings and tradeshows
  • Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)
  • Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solutionbased sales process)
  • Selfmotivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
  • Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time
  • Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
  • Ability to communicate effectively using local language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical background on GE Healthcare technology physics, medical etc
  • Three or more years of demonstrated clinical scanning skills in specific modality.
  • Fluent in English
