YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT


As
Times and Methods Specialist, and part of the External Production Department, you will be responsible for the timely definition of the routing of the Leather Goods (Bags, SLG, Mini Bags, Belts ) in Development phase, once the protos and samples are realized.

You will directly report to the External Production Director.


This experience will enable you to collaborate with the Development, Finance and Planning Department on top of External and Internal Production Department.


You will have the opportunity to gain international experience and build up knowledge on the business processes on luxurious goods working in increasingly challenging environment and on engaging projects.


YOUR IMPACT

  • During the Development Phase (Prototype and Samples realization), evaluate and define the Leather Goods production time, in terms of timing to make each step of the process (routing), and in particular:
  • Read and analyze the CAD model of Bags and Small Leather Goods, to identify components and relative measures
  • Follow product analyses to identify the components and the production methods
  • Make calculation of the routing through a specific internal tool
  • Make comparison with similar products or components to determine the routing quotation
  • Do final check with development department to adjust any possible misalignment
  • Detect time of different phases of production in Internal and External Production Departments to identify the production timing and to propose new methods to determine routings
  • Manage Benchmark Analyses to make comparison with the other Maison of the Group
  • At our External Production Manufacturers implement Continuous Improvement activities through the Lean methods and 6 Sigma methods in order to identify and monitor KPI's and define the necessary Action Plan to improve efficiency, optimization, standardization, cost saving and quality

PROFILE

KEYS FOR SUCCESS

Education:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Continuous Improvement / Times and Methods field

Experience:

  • Position requires minimum 3 years' experience in Continuous Improvement / Times and Methods field
  • Experience in luxury/fashion business a plus

Competencies:

  • Problem Solving
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamworking
  • Detail oriented, highly organized
  • Advanced user of MS office (Excel, Power Point) and at ease with the use of Internet tools (CAD).

Languages:
Fluent in Italian and English, additional languages are a plus
