IAG is expanding its audit staff within American Express, seeking professionals with backgrounds in internal controls, compliance, technology, risk management, and more. As part of the team, you'll be tasked with implementing audit processes, validating corrective actions, and developing data analytics initiatives.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Implement the internal audit process, ensuring key governance, risk, and control processes are effective.
  • Stay current on industry regulations and changes to drive comprehensive audit coverage.
  • Validate management's corrective actions and address audit findings.
  • Develop data analytics initiatives to support the department's NextGen goals.
  • Build effective partner relationships and lead audit test plans.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members in all aspects of the audit lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, or finance.
  • 8+ years of experience in internal control and risk management.
  • Strong communication skills for providing actionable feedback.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead diverse teams.
  • Project management skills and experience with data analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIA, CISA, or CAMS certifications.
  • Information systems or data analytics background.
  • Experience engaging with European regulatory examiners.
