YOUR MISSION
Scope

In corporation with the sales and specialist workforce, promotes the image of the Company in contact with customers.

Main


YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Provide service and support to internal and external customers with regard to instrument maintenance and calibration, and instrument troubleshooting and repair
  • Make the preliminary visits to laboratories to agree on positioning of the instrumentation and installs and tests the instruments at the customer site according to the time limits and methods defined by Field Sup
  • Participate in training processes that are designed to develop a highly skilled workforce capable of delivering results consistent with corporate goals and objectives
  • Draw up reports of their activity using SGAT software manages and maintains correct accounting of own spare parts warehouse
  • Provide oncall service scheduled by the Supervisor and track any outofhours telephone or onsite support to the customer in the aftersales management system
  • Uptodate and fully functional the assigned measuring instruments
  • Reports to the CC any complaints, following the entire process until closure

Education / Specialization:

Experience
Master's Degree or High School Degree in Biomedical, Electronics, Engineering or equivalent

Personal Strengths

Experience:

Have relevant medical systems experience ideally working knowledge of diagnostic equipment with a minimum of 2/3 years field service experience

Mobility
Previous experience in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) and/or highly regulated FDA environments and biotechnology industry experience

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge and skill in preventative maintenance in installing, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining medical diagnostic or clinical laboratory instrumentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronics, medical terminology, chemistry, and physics
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic immunology and immunoassay technology
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment
  • Seasoned experience using Microsoft Power Point, Work and Excel
  • Very good knowledge of Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows 7
