YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Take charge of developing and enhancing our global direct tax & transfer price setup for our three businesses: Leica Microsystems, Leica Biosystems, and Mammotome. This involves overseeing 70 legal entities and approximately $2.5B in revenue, including:

  • Leading all direct tax-related aspects from planning to conflict resolution, streamlining processes, and evaluating risks.
  • Supervising tax operations, compliance, and documentation in close partnership with local teams.
  • Establishing and managing policies and value chain maps.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all relevant inquiries.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, conducting complex financial analyses and modeling to support decision-making.
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects and working closely with the global tax & transfer pricing team at Danaher.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Hold a Master's degree in Economics, (Tax) Law, or Finance, preferably with additional qualifications such as certified Tax Advisor, Chartered Financial Analyst, or similar accreditation.
  • Bring a minimum of ten years of experience in tax & transfer pricing, ideally in a multinational corporate setting or international tax advisory firm.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of international transfer pricing regulations.
  • Have experience with transfer pricing operations and handling large datasets.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Position Details:

  • Report to the Global Controller, who reports to the LMS CFO.
  • Full remote work arrangement is acceptable. A visit to Wetzlar may be required for immersive training.
  • One support personnel will be provided with this role.
