Position summary
In this role you will support the Sustainability Manager to implement projects and roadmaps in related field.

With a good business understanding, you will support the business to improve environmental and social impacts along the value chain whilst assuring compliance.

You will work across, and provide a link between, corporate functions, businesses and the outside world on sustainability issues.

A Day in the life of a Sustainability Specialist

  • Collaborate with the Sustainability Manager in identifying the priorities based upon Corporate commitments and market level issues
  • Support the Sustainability Manager to implement the sustainability strategy (scope, priorities, timelines)
  • Support the communication of sustainability positions and actions internally and externally
  • Support to implement projects & sustainability performance of the company in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders under the guidance of the Sustainability Manager
  • Provide support, guidance and training to develop Knowledge on Sustainability across the organization
  • Support the Sustainability Manager for the compliance to internal and external sustainability rules, norms, policies, internal and external standards, ISO std etc.

What will make you successful

  • Environmental engineer
  • 2/3 years experience in Sustainability Project Management
  • Knowledge of Italian waste infrastructures and audit skills are an asset
  • Good packaging knowledge is preferred
  • Good project management skills
  • Very good analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to analyze, assess data, identify problems and find solutions
  • Highly motivated & positive attitude
  • Fluent English & Italian
