Position

Currently seeking a Junior Site Administrative professional to join Our Administration, Financial & Control Department.

The ideal candidate should hold a Degree in Economics and will be responsible for assisting the Site Finance Manager in various Business Service activities such as Accounting, Financial Reporting, Internal Controls, Budgeting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions. Following initial training at Our Headquarters in Parma, the selected candidate will be deployed to Our Projects in Italy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle General Accounting functions at the site, including processing monthly journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, ensuring correct cost classification on purchase requisitions and work orders, and maintaining asset records for acquisitions and disposals.
  • Manage payroll processing for both management and employees at the site.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures for all accounting and budgeting activities, overseeing tasks such as processing purchase requisitions, journal entries, account reconciliations, plant recordkeeping, and inventory accuracy assessments.
  • Offer advice and assistance to resident manager and site staff in implementing Corporate financial policies and internal controls, communicating updates in financial policies and procedures, overseeing site participation in internal financial audits, and collaborating with senior site management to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of the site's annual budget as per set timelines and guidelines, working with site and cross-functional teams to establish an annual budget, and contributing to the development and upkeep of short and long-term work plans for the site and Business Unit.
  • Generate timely and precise financial reports, analysis, and monitoring tools to support site and Business Units' objectives and targets.
  • Engage in corporate and site initiatives for system and process enhancements, enterprise management systems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics or related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to relocate to our sites in Italy.
