Position:
Freelance Atlassian/ Jira System Administrator (Remote, 20-40% Part-time role)

Remote working policy:
fully remote, part-time freelancer (8-16 hours per week)

Fee: 60€-70€ per hour This is a remote position and we welcome applications from within the EU

About the role:
The Atlassian (Jira) System Administrator will be part of the IT Support team for our German-based Automotive client.

The primary task of this position will be to support, maintain and improve our Jira Software and Jira Service Desk (JSM) platforms.

This is a part-time position (20-40%, 1-2 days per week), perfect for a freelancer looking for a second income or part-time role.


What you will be doing:
Provide day-to-day operational supportResponsible for all administration, maintenance, updates, and enhancements of Jira Software and JSMIdentify opportunities and create workflow automation for IT teams that provide measurable increases in efficiencyProcess incidents, service requests, onboarding and offboarding ticketsCreating Jira projects, queries, dashboards and reports as neededOnboard new teams into Jira and JSMTroubleshoot, remediate and resolve JSM issuesManage spaces and contents in ConfluenceControl and maintain the backup procedures (automated and manual)


Experience You Need for this Job Several years (at least 3) of professional experience as an administrator of Atlassian/JIRA toolsExperience in maintenance and improvement of tools and add-onsExperience in large enterprise system administrationSupport and troubleshooting for internal employeesDesigning the architecture for a Jira projectCertification for Atlassian Certified Administrator or Atlassian Skills BadgeEnglish at a professional levelGerman (nice to have)We Offer: 100% fully remote, work-from-home positionFlexible work hoursPart-time position 1-2 days per week - perfect as a second job or additional incomeLong-term freelancer contractFull-time support from delivery and administration managersBudget fee of 60-70€ per hour This is a remote position and we welcome applications from within the EU.
