Auto Glass Technician Trainee. This is the first step towards becoming a certified auto glass technician in a highly skilled team.

We will train you to install and repair auto glass, calibrate car safety systems, and provide outstanding service that will be remembered.

As a Technician Trainee, you will:

• Get paid to learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, which includes:
• Installing and repairing auto glass
• Calibrating automotive safety systems
• Providing additional services and products
• Study and pass tests to become a Safelitecertified Technician, showing proficiency in installations, having a positive attitude, and following taught techniques
• Safely operate a company vehicle and use companyissued tools throughout the workday

What you'll get:

• Competitive weekly pay starting at $19.75/hour, increasing to $21.50/hour after training and certification
• Earn $5 for each set of wiper blades added for customer safety
• Potential for promotion in your first year Pay starting at $24/hour as a Senior Technician and $27.25/hour as a Master Technician. Promotions are based on performance metrics that demonstrate efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
• A benefits package valued at more than $10,000*, including a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days
• Opportunity to buy additional paid time off or sell unused time up to 16 hours
• Up to $5,250 annually in tuition reimbursement
• Paid training and all the necessary tools and resources for your success

What you'll need:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid stateissued driver's license
• Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions and on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility in start and end times to accommodate customer needs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds for short periods and occasionally at elevated heights
• High school diploma/GED/equivalent preferred; ability to read and write
