This position is an exciting and new opportunity that is currently part of Medtronic and will move to a to-be-named company we are calling "NewCo".

NewCo will be an independent company with equal partners, Medtronic & DaVita.

It will be established in calendar 2023 as a new company (NewCo) formed from Medtronic's Renal Care Solutions Operating Unit focused on providing innovative technologies to support kidney care patients.

While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of NewCo your employment will transfer to NewCo and you will no longer be employed by Medtronic.

NewCo is uniquely poised to transform renal care and dialysis, building on Medtronic's innovation and technology pipeline.

The business will have the singular focus, financial commitment, deep domain expertise, and global footprint needed to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable and scalable life-saving renal care technologies — particularly our transformative home dialysis platform technologies.


A Day in the Life

IT Business Analyst
As Business Analyst you will be a part of the Application Support Team within the global IT department.


The main area of responsibility will focus on finance and controlling, but it could also include other business processes - i.e.

manufacturing, procurement, sales and support business flows.

This role will be based in Mirandola, but in this role you will supporting other countries.

Hybrid way of working is possible.

Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Consult with business stakeholders and develop relationships with business partners (both from IT and business units) to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify business problems and needs turning them into ERP system requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise for system functional specifications and deploys new and current systems, processes and procedures determining the best path for solving business problems/opportunities into highlevel business ERP solution
  • Develop solutions to complex business problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives according to business impact and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, system, and integration testing to meet business requirements
  • Provide to training, knowledge transfer, reports, and documentation
  • Stimulate crossfunctions changes and to rationalize and improve the processes, ensuring business solutions developed across the organization are aligned to standards and Quality System
  • Ensure that Medtronic systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with best information protection practices.
  • Respond to all incidents and requests raised by business and manufacturing users on own job area.

Must Have

  • Management Engineering or Economics Degree (with particular focus on business processes)
  • 25 Years of experience in the IT department supporting the business with SAP
  • SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation and support experience in particular: Finance and Controlling modules.
  • Experience in using / supporting SAP ERP and associated integrations
  • English advanced level
  • MS Office ( Excel advanced level)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Selfmotivated and proactive
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision

Nice to Have

  • Other languages are considered a plus (German and French in particular)
  • SAP 4/HANA experience will be considered as an advantage.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Required a Degree in Management Engineering or Economic Disciplines and minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience with ERP SAP.
