The Opportunity

We are seeking an EHS Specialist to join our awesome team in Brugherio (MB) for a part-time position (20h weekly).

Your Impact

Reporting directly to the Director Global EHS, you will have the chance to lead QVC Italy's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program and offer guidance to all business units in the market to advocate for the health, safety, and well-being of all team members, contractors, and guests, as well as ensure environmental protection across all QVC Italy operations.

As an EHS Specialist, your responsibilities include:

• Risk Evaluation
• Counseling the Senior Management Team on EHS matters.
• Overseeing documentation of workplace accidents and incidents as per local regulations.
• Serving as a primary contact for government authorities and accident insurance institutions.
• Facilitating Safety Steering Committee meetings.
• Ensuring EHS trainings and medical checks are conducted according to Italian regulations.
• Conducting audits, surveys, and checks to evaluate facility processes and team member behaviors.
• Supporting the Supervisory Body and maintaining ISO 45001 accreditation.
• Leading health and safety initiatives and promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.
• Designing and implementing local EHS policies to minimize risks.
• Organizing Health & Safety events and supporting operational process improvements.
• Collaborating with international EHS colleagues to develop best practices.
• Supporting the Sr Manager CREWS in budget planning.

What you bring

• Qualified Certified Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Professional or 5+ years of relevant experience with OSH certification.
• Training in RSPP Module A, B, and C as per local regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in influencing stakeholders within a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations.
• Enthusiasm for creating a positive team environment.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.
• On-site availability.
