This is an exciting and dynamic role with attractive career development opportunities, which will allow you to gain significant practical M&A and operational experience in the best in class roll up team.

As Manager M&A you will be an integral part of our M&A Team and play a crucial role in expanding Sanoptis European footprint, focusing on Italy.

The role will have exposure to the different country entities of the Sanoptis network.

Your mission:

  • Analyze financial statements of target companies, assess their financial health and sustainability, and identify any potential regulatory risks and growth opportunities associated with the transaction
  • Conduct financial analysis including indepth financial modelling & valuation and develop business cases to project financial upside of targets
  • Support due diligence on potential acquisition targets and manage the outcome of it with the support of external advisors
  • Manage and organize (DD) calls and meetings with external advisors as well as doctors and harmonize the resulting workstreams
  • Handle LOIs and NBOs and prepare deal related documentation (IC papers, etc.)
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends and watch competition, to identify potential targets
  • End to end involvement in the entire deal cycle from mapping right targets, deal structuring and completion to post merger integration
  • Evaluate the potential upsides and downsides of integrating acquired companies into Sanoptis' existing business operations, identifying key areas for synergy realization and operational optimization
  • Share best practices with M&A managers working in other regions

Reports and Organization Structure
Direct reporting line to the Director M&A and close collaboration with the Country Management.

You will join Sanoptis M&A team, which is a mix between young talents and more seasoned M&A professionals coming from top-tier investment banks and private equity organisations.


Location
The hybrid role is based in Milan (IT) - with occasional travel to clinics across Sanoptis' European footprint.

Your profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in M&A and/or Transaction Services at a top tier investment bank or Big Four, preferably with exposure to healthcare
  • Top tier Bachelor's degree; Master or MBA highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fastpaced environment and capacity to direct, produce, and communicate business and financial analyses at an executive level
  • Selfstarter who can take on significant responsibility and drive problemsolving and process change independently
  • High emotional intelligence, possesses high level of judgement and discretion, strong management of confidentiality
  • Intellectual curiosity with rigorous attention to detail and a passion for problem solving
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting and financial statement modelling
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, financial modelling, and data analytics
  • Team player with an exceptional work ethic and strong communication skills
  • Very good command of Italian and English.
