What will be your mission? As Chef De Rang you will be responsible for taking orders and delivering food and beverages to our customers providing an excellent overall guest experience. What will you do? Reporting to the maître, the selected resource will be in charge of a specific station of the restaurant. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: • Ensuring and organizing the set-up of the dining room and tables, taking care of their functionality and aesthetics; • Welcoming guests, guiding them to the tables, presenting the menu and wine list, suggesting the best pairings, and managing table service; • Maintain your station in accordance with standards at all times; • Develop a complete knowledge of menus; • Coordinating and monitoring the commis waiters assigned to him/her; • To work as a team with colleagues in all departments, to ensure timely service and a smooth running operation. • Actively participate in all training meetings, to continually develop professional skills and increase guest satisfaction. What are we looking for? • Graduation in the tourism/hotel industry. • At least 2 years' experience in a similar position in luxury hotels or high-level restaurants. • Familiarity with the mise en place techniques of an à la carte restaurant and banqueting. • Fluent Italian and English. A second foreign language are considered a plus. • Pleasant personality and positive attitude, with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to details and quality. • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to anticipate the guests' needs, and work both in a team and independently.
