Your Role As Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for the full scope of procurement and you will lead and develop procurement strategies aligned with our business needs across multiple locations for the entire BU Primary (Winchester – UK, Treviso – Italy, Hamburg - Germany), holding accountability for organizational management, process optimization, and business impact. In coordination with company management and the Business Area, you will: Share corporate responsibility, including profit contribution from materials and services, while assessing risks and market conditions affecting the business. Create transparency on purchasing volumes and analyze future demand. Conduct market and supplier analysis to actively support category management. Develop innovative purchasing and SCM strategies aligned with corporate and business area targets, ensuring procurement processes and organizational setup are optimized. Oversee commercial duties, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and efficient ordering processes that support economic success. Measure, report, and monitor achievement of targets, initiating clarification, escalation, or corrective actions when required. Initiate global BU purchasing procedures, support problem solving, and balance multiple business objectives. Ensure timely integration of all procurement-relevant processes across all sites. Regularly benchmark procurement processes and KPIs, deriving and implementing improvements through best practices. Continuously adjust and implement efficient organizational forms, processes, and procedures to optimize productivity, compliance, and security. Select, lead, and develop employees within your areas of responsibility. Skillset Strong leadership skills, capable of developing and motivating teams across multiple sites. Strategic vision combined with hands-on operational excellence. Expertise in supplier management and procurement processes. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. Solid understanding of compliance, legal frameworks, and commercial duties in purchasing. Ability to manage risks, anticipate market dynamics, and implement improvement initiatives. International mindset with strong collaboration across diverse functions and geographies (Italy, UK, Hungary). Your Profile Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or an equivalent technical/managerial background. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Procurement/SCM, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the production industry required; international exposure is highly desirable. Fluent in English and Italian; German is considered a plus. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems. A results-driven professional who combines strategic thinking with operational execution, able to design and deliver innovative procurement strategies that create measurable business value across multiple sites.
