Role Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager for Implants has the crucial task of boosting the growth of implants brands under the company's multi-brand strategy. This role involves proposing, developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing activities to meet sales and marketing goals efficiently.
The Senior Marketing Manager for Implants will focus on creating a strong value proposition based on insights from customers and patients. This entails defining brand positioning and differentiation within the implants portfolio, aligned with global guidelines. Success in this position relies on a mix of strategic marketing, tactical planning, and marketing communication skills.
This individual plays a key role in facilitating product launches in Italy, acting as the liaison between the local team, regional team, and headquarters. Effective communication is essential as this role involves introducing new products to Italy and presenting them to Area Sales Managers and Sales Force for tailored campaigns. The ability to convey complex technical information in simple, actionable messages is vital, as is analyzing the efficacy of all activities.
The Senior Marketing Manager will actively contribute to building a comprehensive Training and Education plan tailored to both brand and customer needs, collaborating with the T&E team. This role includes overseeing 2 Brand Managers.Responsibilities:
  • Being an expert on the Italian market and the brands managed.
  • Networking within headquarters to represent the Italian market and ensure new product development requirements are effectively communicated.
  • Analyzing market trends and needs to develop marketing strategies that enhance competitiveness.
  • Successfully managing launches and projects from inception to completion, including business case development, forecasting, marketing plan preparation, education concept creation, and sales initiatives implementation.
  • Monitoring the success and ROI of launches and projects and making necessary adjustments.
  • Developing a key communication strategy for the brands, from creating briefs to defining key messages, to establish brand positioning in the competitive landscape.
  • Understanding competitors' strategies and collaborating with customers, Marketing team members, and Sales Managers to devise targeted marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Marketing to define market research projects that enrich brand strategy with new insights.
  • Managing forecasts and budget processes for the brands managed, and preparing brand review presentations.
  • Controlling operational expenses to achieve plan objectives within budget constraints.
Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications:
  • Education: Degree in economics or scientific disciplines, ideally followed by a Master's or postgraduate course in Marketing.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in global companies, preferably in B2B, medical devices/dental marketplace, or OTC.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel sales and marketing plans at strategic and tactical levels.
  • Experience working closely with large sales forces, particularly in the medical devices/dental marketplace.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with evidence of measuring the success of business initiatives.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex market data alongside qualitative inputs to make informed decisions.
  • Network-building skills and the ability to form strong business relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Fluency in English.
