Descrizione del ruolo:

In qualità di Program Development Specialist la risorsa garantisce la corretta gestione – progettuale e finanziaria – dei progetti di pertinenza, sotto il coordinamento e la supervisione dell'Head of Programs. Implementa le direzioni strategiche del settore in termini di acquisizione di nuovi progetti ed acquisizione e gestione di donatori, istituzionali e non. La risorsa sarà responsabile di sviluppare contenuti e approfondimenti nell'ambito dell'area tematica assegnata dall' Head of Programs, relativamente alla quale contribuisce alla costruzione del posizionamento istituzionale. Inoltre, garantisce il coordinamento dello staff e quello finanziario per l'area geografica di competenza, curando le relazioni con i Country Offices e con le controparti istituzionali e non.

  1. Attività e responsabilità
  • In ambito strategico, la risorsa contribuisce, all'interno di un processo gestito dall' Head of Programs l'identificazione, lo sviluppo e le successive revisioni della strategia dell'area Africa, nelle sue componenti di portfolio programmi, priorità tematiche e geografiche e donatori istituzionali;
  • Sotto la supervisione dell'Head of Programs, la risorsa sarà responsabile dello sviluppo di nuove progettualità per le aree e i progetti di diretta competenza, per i donor istituzionali e non, con la supervisione dell'Head of Programs.
  • La risorsa collabora, con lo staff dell'area Programs, alla definizione di nuove proposte valorizzando le conoscenze relative alle tematiche assegnate;
  • Approfondisce con raccolta e analisi di documenti (esterni e interni) le tematiche di competenza per finalità interne all'area ed esterne (Comunicazione/Fundraising) e partecipa ai tavoli di approfondimento promossi dalla Family relativi alle tematiche assegnate;
  • Garantisce la corretta gestione dei progetti di competenza attraverso attività di pianificazione, monitoraggio e supervisione progettuale e finanziaria degli interventi sul campo, in stretta collaborazione con i/le referenti dei COs, garantendo il pieno rispetto degli accordi siglati, sia in seno al network della Family, sia con donatori istituzionali e non. Oltre a interfacciarsi con eventuali cooperanti in loco per le attività dei progetti di propria competenza;
  • La risorsa collabora con il settore Fundaraising and Communication fornendo informazioni e aggiornamenti sui programmi in corso, secondo la pianificazione concordata;
  • Gestisce attività di M&E dei progetti di competenza con missioni sul campo;
  • Supporta il capacity building dei partners e dello staff che coordina;
  • In linea con gli obiettivi strategici del settore Programs Africa, gestisce e fidelizza i donatori istituzionali acquisiti con appropriate attività di pubbliche relazioni. Nell'ambito dell'acquisizione, svolge un ruolo relazionale proattivo con le istituzioni identificate, in collaborazione con l'Head of Programs;
  • Implementa le direzioni strategiche definite in merito all'allargamento geografico e tematico del portfolio programmi, processo guidato e coordinato dall'Head of Programs;

Contribuisce, in collaborazione con l'Head of Programs e l'Area Communication, alla costruzione del posizionamento istituzionale in relazione alle aree tematiche di pertinenza affinché Amref Health Africa in Italia sia riconosciuta come un'organizzazione autorevole e credibile.

2. Competenze richieste per svolgere il ruolo

Competenze tecniche:

  • Conoscenza approfondite delle principali tematiche di sviluppo e cooperazione;
  • Comprovata capacità di scrittura proposals e relativi budget per donatori istituzionali e non;
  • Conoscenze delle tecniche e metodologie aggiornate relative all'elaborazione e gestione dei progetti
  • Capacità di gestione e implementazione di attività in progetti di sviluppo;
  • Conoscenza delle principali tecniche e metodologie di Monitoraggio e valutazione
  • Capacità di gestione e pianificazione del budget di progetto;
  • Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese – scritta e orale;
  • Ottima conoscenza dei principali strumenti informatici di videoscrittura, calcolo, etc;

Competenze trasversali e attitudinali:

  • Orientameto al problem solving e al lavoro per obiettivi
  • Capacità di pianificazione e di organizzazare il lavoro in base alle priorità
  • Capacità di lavoro in team ed in autonomia
  • Propensione costante all'aggionameto sulle tematiche di riferimento e sulle metodologie afferenti alle azioni di cooperazione allo sviluppo

  • Elevata capacità di gestione dello stress
