Job Description

In the role of Director, EMEA South Renewals, you will collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop and execute region/area renewal strategies, ensuring a sustainable pipeline of renewals with large-scale clients.

You will lead a dedicated team focused on renewals, working in partnership with multiple Sales leaders to craft renewal strategies and streamline processes. Renewals serve as the lifeblood of a SaaS company's revenue stream, and as the Renewals leader, your primary focus will be on meeting renewal targets while fostering a collaborative approach in interactions with the South Account Sales leadership.

What you will be responsible for in this position:

  • Collaborate with EMEA South leaders to enhance our renewals strategy and engagement with the regional Sales teams
  • Ensure clear understanding and implementation of Renewal procedures across the teams
  • Oversee the South renewal process to drive revenue growth for ServiceNow and achieve sales/revenue objectives
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to ensure thorough comprehension of our sales/renewals go-to-market strategies
  • Provide role clarity for team members and establish connections between departmental objectives and the overarching organizational goals
  • Present performance metric summaries to enable the sales team to concentrate on renewals execution, customer success, and account planning for renewals
  • Collaborate with the operations team to conduct trend analysis and performance evaluation for enhanced efficiency and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with our Professional Services and Alliances/Channels team to drive growth and expansion through our partners
  • Assist Sales or Renewals representatives and leadership in renewal negotiations
  • Develop strategies to support renewals in collaboration with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams
  • Partner with the broader Renewals organization to devise global initiatives that ensure sustained success of the renewals program and the team as a whole
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Renewal Sales or Customer Success leadership, ideally in a SaaS environment within local EMEA markets
  • Capability to drive operational excellence by leveraging data and making efficient decisions to ensure timely renewals
  • Expertise in Channel Management with the ability to ensure on-time renewals with partners
  • Capacity to make sound commercial decisions and execute them effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and effective communication abilities across all levels of the business
  • Experience in developing employee-centered programs to enhance engagement
  • Proficiency in English with a preference for fluency in French, Spanish, or Italian
