Within our Automation and Electrical Engineering team, we are looking for an Automation Engineer. Main responsibility is to oversee and contribute to the automation engineering, commissioning, and servicing of automation systems, supported by colleagues and technical experts.

Our specialization lies in processing plants engineering, from a compact CIP unit to large-scale plants with multiple process areas (for milk, juice, plant-based drinks, cheese...). These plants may include filling machines and other standard units that come already pre-assembled from various parts of the world, and we integrate them into our plants alongside our locally designed production areas.

The position will be office based in Monza, Italy.

What you will do
  • Comprehend and actively contribute to all aspects of the automation systems for which you are responsible
  • Defining automation solutions, based on PLC, Scada, Industrial Networks, in virtual environments and with a high level of integration and information Exchange with Data Bases
  • Siemens PLC & InTouch HMI programming are the most common in our business.
  • Project quality assurance, by using of proper FAT tests and validation tests protocol.
  • Design and review all the technical documentation, as per, automation architecture, IP lists, electrical diagrams, instrumentation, operator manual, etc.
  • Overall project responsible for automation & electrical (low voltage panels) design
  • Build and maintain a good customer relation and work proactively with quick analysis, decisions and actions.
  • Act as a Tetra Pak ambassador and cultivate relationships with clients. Make a positive contribution to the health and safety of yourself, our employees, and others around you.
  • Collaboration within the market area and cluster (EUROPE).
We believe you have
  • University degree (Bachelor or MSC) in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronic, Software development or equivalent
  • Fluent Italian, a very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' work experience in PLC, SCADAs programming and commissioning for processing plants, skills in one or some of the following systems: Siemens (S7, TIA Portal), ABB (Sattline), Intouch, WinCC, Ignition.
  • Good knowledge in MES System, Virtualization VMWare, Industrial Network integration, are highly appreciated.
  • Experience on Ethernet networking and field bus systems such as Profinet, Profibus, Asi, Control-Net, Device-Net, IO-link etc.
  • Good communications skills and team player attitude, logical and methodical thinking, highly flexible and self-motivated, willingness to travel to foreign countries (around 50% of time).
