Experis is looking for a Material & Processes Engineer to strengthen our Aerospace & Defence division in Como offices.
MissionWe are looking for a Material and Process Engineer with a solid experience in materials and processes selection within the space industry, control and procurement to join our team. You will become part of a growing and dynamic Quality and Product Assurance group granting quality of hardware components across a range of high-performance applications in the new space domain.
How your contribution will make a difference- Contribute to the establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of Space Product Assurance organization
- Create, maintain and control the typical M&P lists of assigned projects
- Control, through every phase of the hardware development lifecycle, the compliance of processes and parts to the Products quality levels agreed with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure M&P selection processes are followed correctly and consistently
- Manage material configuration to ensure availability and traceability of products
- Contribute to the definition of an effective non-conformance control system, and support the documentation, follow-up and closure of anomaly reports and non-conformance reports, including the follow-up of Request for Deviation/Request for Waiver status
- Contribute to RAMS analysis during project lifecycle
- Several years of experience in M&P roles, preferably in the space industry
- Knowledge of any topics within M&P (both COTS and space-grade) for space applications is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of applicable standards on M&P (i.e. ECSS and ASTM)
- Capability of working in autonomy
- Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
