Automotive Service Technician

Our independently owned and operated repair facility is in search of a skilled and experienced technician. Candidates should possess strong diagnostic abilities, the appropriate tools, and several years of hands-on experience. If you have the mechanical experience we’re searching for, apply today

• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics.
• Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems.
• Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more.
• Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system.
• Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes.

• National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is strongly desired.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are needed.
• GED or high school diploma is mandatory.
• Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal.

$20 - $30 hourly DOE.
