Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced automotive service technician to join our team at Bighornlaw.

• Diagnostic Expertise: Clearly articulate complex automotive repair issues and needed repairs to customers and mechanics.
• Comprehensive Examination: Apply a detailed checklist-based approach to examine all vehicle systems, including engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems.
• Process Efficiency: Establish efficient processes for tracking diagnostics, system repairs, and maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnostic Equipment Operation: Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine malfunction codes on integrated computer systems.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks like fluid checks, tire rotations, and oil changes as needed.

• Certification: National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is highly desired.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Education: GED or high school diploma is required; completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal.
