As an HR Advisor, you will join our People Services Team in the Advice & Guidance Service Tower. This role plays an important part in helping to make AstraZeneca a Great Place to Work by supporting our managers to be the best they can be, facilitating them to engage, empower, challenge, and coach their teams to unleash their full potential.
Accountabilities:
As an HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Resolving HR queries and issues for managers and employees.
- Helping managers to understand, interpret and apply HR policy.
- Resolving HR issues in respect to Payroll and Time & Attendance.
You will ensure the support delivered to stakeholders is of exceptional quality and in accordance with written procedures, current legal requirements, and internal standards.
Among those, there will be also following activities performed in this role:
- Optimization of AskAZ Portal, management of AZ Knowledge Articles.
- Time & Leave Management (maternity leave, parental leave, long-term sickness, etc).
- Issue employment confirmations, certificates etc for various purposes upon request.
- Support with basic HR reporting queries.
- Coordinate implementation of global HR projects (including AI solutions).
- Connect with CoE's to understand upcoming Policy & Process changes which impact employee’s data.
You will also prioritize workload to achieve personal and work unit targets and continuously improve ways of working to develop and simplify processes and systems.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Keen attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
- Able to communicate fluently in Italian & English.
- Demonstrable ability to manage competing priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communicator, with an ability to effectively interact with stakeholders to explain and execute HR policy.
- Demonstrable experience in HR administration field.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a hard-working team.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work with confidential data.
- Ability to think analytically and effectively problem solve using creative solutions.
- Flexibility and resourcefulness to change.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working in Payroll or Comp/Benefit area.
- HR qualification.
- Experience of working in a matrix environment.
