About the Venue:
Como Hotel has a touch of elegance standing in the quiet backwaters of the Georges River. With remarkable views and shady verandas, this hotel is a beautiful part of the heritage of our Shire. The hotel features a bistro, sports bar, TAB and Keno facilities, a lounge area, kids area and unique functions spaces.

About the Role:
The Duty Manager will take the lead in the day to day operations of the business, ensuring a seamless operation and allowing customers to enjoy an exceptional experience. They will play a key role in creating a sense of atmosphere, training new team members and ensuring the venue complies with regulations. The hours for this role promote a great work/life balance as the latest closes are at midnight. Looking for someone experienced in working in a fast-paced environment across a multi-faced venue. Attention to detail and a positive work ethic is a must. The ideal candidate will be a career focused manager who is interested in future opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered across all aspects of the business
• Ensuring the venue operates safely and within restrictions
• Focused on the development of the team, with the ability to lead, train and coordinate staff in a motivating, efficient and effective manner
• Able to manage payments, cash handling and reporting
• Confident handling guest feedback and any complaints in an efficient and proactive manner

Skills & Experience:

• A natural and confident leader with exceptional communication skills
• Passionate about customer service and delivering amazing experiences
• Maintaining knowledge of venue compliance, regulations and venue operations
• Have full availability to work a mix of nights, weekends and day shifts
• RSA & RCG accredited
• Experience with gaming preferred
• A police check will be required for this role
