  • Connect & Control Technologies ($0.7B) is a niche player in harsh environment connectors and control components in critical applications for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team at ITT. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you’ll be an integral part of the team spearheading key manufacturing projects from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and timelines.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Project management for the installation of new production machines and equipment.
  2. Identification of plant requirements in collaboration with Production, Quality, and R&D bodies.
  3. Definition of the characteristics of the system, layout, and implementation plan.
  4. Supplier contact, supply definition, RdA issuance, supply management, and economic negotiation in collaboration with Purchasing.
  5. Verification and compliance with the impact on safety and the environment.
  6. Internal construction site set-up, work coordination, and supplier and external labor management.
  7. Commissioning of the plant within the assigned times and achievement of project productivity.
  8. Monitoring of assigned industrial plants.
  9. Verification of production/quality performance.
  10. Promotion of quality and efficiency improvement activities.
  11. Promotion of plant cost reduction activities.
  12. Participation in innovation and development of the competitiveness of the production unit.
Position Requirements
  1. Technical degree.
  2. Proficient use of IT tools: Excel, SAP (or other ERP), PowerPoint.
  3. Good knowledge of the English language.
  4. Interpersonal skills, autonomy, flexibility, aptitude for teamwork, analytical skills, problem solving, priority management, and willingness to work in a challenging environment.
  5. Leadership skills to interface with multiple internal functions and external parties (suppliers, contract manufacturers).
  6. Eagerness to learn, enthusiasm, and curiosity.
  7. Detail-oriented and analytic mindset.
