This is a position with grade 12, reporting to the Service Operations Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. You will be responsible for Medium Voltage Electrification Service to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes.

This role is contributing to the 3442 LPG, ELSE in the EMEA Region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading MV Service production, testing departments, and staff to reach safety, revenues, on-time delivery, OPEX, quality, and cost reduction targets.
  • Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to address cost issues.
  • Ensuring all staff understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards.
  • Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes.
  • Establishing and maintaining channels of communication with employees.
  • Evaluating workforce needs and supervising the training of new and existing employees.
  • Ensuring good working relations and compliance with the collective agreement.
Qualifications for the Role
  • Degree/Diploma in engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Operations functions, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Preferred knowledge of MV Products (Circuit Breakers and Switchgears) and their production processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean production and continuous improvement principles.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel (pivot, macro), SAP.
  • Ability to promote teamwork, engagement, and accountability.
  • Good resistance to stress and adaptability to changes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
