Project Manager - Compressor Plants
The position will be based in Milan (ITALY). Reporting will be in direct line to Vice President Operations.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Interact with headquarter engineering dept. for technical definition and finalization of bare compressor
Draft material requisitions / specifications for drivers and main auxiliaries; request quotation to local and global sub-vendors
Ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risk
Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical data sheets and material requisitions
Attendance to Technical and Management meetings with Clients and Vendors
Required skills:
Proven working experience (at least 4/5 years) as project manager in similar technological sector (Industrial Plants - Oil & Gas) preferably at OEMs
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
AutoCAD
MS Office
Fluent written and spoken English
Basic knowledge of SAP
PMP/ IPMA certification is a plus
Education and requirements:
Master Degree in Electronics/Automation/Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
Proactivity and flexibility
Good communication skills, ability to adapt to different cultures, customers and colleagues
Willingness to international travel inside Europe and Middle East
