Job Description:

The IT Automation Integration Supervisor for HC distribution applications (WMS, TMS, etc.) provides technical expertise (e.g., analysis, technical requirements, design, coding/configuration, testing, implementations, etc.) to integrate the suite of applications with Automation Systems. He/She guides teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies within HC tech stack or that can be leveraged by UPS suite of applications. He/She provides knowledge and support for applications’ development, integration, and maintenance. He/She solves technical issues or functional issues in the assigned application.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive all aspects of technical development from technical design to successfully delivering solutions.
  2. Manage creation of application documentation.
  3. Guide system integration.
  4. Manage applications' maintenance and support.
  5. Evaluate and monitor emerging technologies and products.
  6. Manage and develop others.
  7. Handle project activities including scope, conflicting priorities, issue escalations, and status reporting.
  8. Deliver high-quality HC distribution system solutions in a dynamic environment and within challenging timelines.
  9. Manage multiple tasks or projects with changing priorities.

Additional details:

  1. Work closely with business stakeholders on new change requests to evaluate feasibility and provide effort estimates.
  2. Possess excellent collaborative and interpersonal communication skills to drive consensus across teams.
  3. Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and sensitive to established schedules and scopes.
  4. Demonstrate flexibility to work with multi-regional teams across different time zones.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. At least one full life cycle of warehouse automation implementation from the start to steady state.
  2. Extensive experience in any of the WMS applications; cloud WMS would be a plus (Softeon, Blue Yonder, Infor, SAP EWM).
  3. At least one life cycle implementation experience with WES - Warehouse Execution System.
  4. Extensive experience in working with WMS-WES-WCS integration.
  5. Extensive experience in solution design that spans inbound, outbound, and inventory control.
  6. Extensive experience in working with at least one of the modernized automation such as AMR, ASRS, AGV.
  7. Working experience with WES vendor solution that is separate from WCS vendor.
  8. Experience in partnering with multiple vendors that bring WMS, WES, WCS, automation.
  9. Experience in working in SAP as ERP environment.
  10. Healthcare experience is a big plus.
  11. Third Party Logistics experience is a big plus.
  12. CFR 21 Part 11 or European Regulatory System validation experience is a big plus.
  13. Industrial Engineering experience and a major are big plus.
