Our historic Hotel, with its Michelin-starred Italian restaurant and a locally inspired Spa where you can spend afternoons in pure indulgence, is just steps away from the cultural heart of Florence.  Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for a talented Front Desk Receptionist to join the Team for 2026 summer season About the role: The Front Desk Receptionist welcomes guests to the property, providing an exceptional guest experience at check-in, during the guest’s stay and on departure. This role works to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction during their arrival and departure, plus responding to a wide variety of guest requests, assessing guest needs, adding personal recommendations, and aligning with Four Seasons service standards. What you will do: Check in and out guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible following all Four Seasons standards and accommodating guests’ needs whenever possible.  Perform all cashiering transactions balancing their cash float at the end of each shift. Handle all guest interaction with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone. Resolve customer complaints assisting them in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.  Coordinate room status updates with the Supervisory and Management Team, by notifying them of all group checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins and special requests. Accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff.  Answer internal and external calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Switchboard Operator. Customize room reservations selling approach and upselling techniques, based on the targets set for each particular shift. What you bring: Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request. Flexibility, good problem solving skills and team work approach are required.  Proficiency in using Opera PMS is preferred. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language. A third language is a plus.   What we offer: •    Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package •    Excellent Training and Development opportunities •    Employee Discount for stays at any Four Seasons worldwide •    Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms •    Employee Meals •    Staff accommodation upon availability Schedule & Hours:Full time and seasonal contract.
