Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for a talented Front Desk Receptionist to join the Team for 2026 summer season

About the role:

The Front Desk Receptionist welcomes guests to the property , providing an exceptional guest experience at check-in, during the guest's stay and on departure. This role works to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction during their arrival and departure, plus r esponding to a wide variety of guest requests , assessing guest needs , adding personal recommendations , and align ing with Four Seasons service standards .

What you will do:

Check in and out guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible following all Four Seasons standards and accommodating guests' needs whenever possible .

Perform all cashiering transactions balancing their cash fl oat at the end of each shift.

Handle all guest interaction with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating spec ial requests whenever possible in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.

Resolve customer complaints assisting them in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.

Coordinate room status updates with the Supervisory and Management Team , by notifying them of all group checkouts, late checkouts, early check- ins and special requests.

Accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff . Answer internal and external calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Switchboard Operator.

Customize room reservations selling approach and upselling techniques, based on the targets set for each particular shift.

What you bring :

Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.

Flexibility, good problem solving skills and team work approach are required .

Proficiency in using Opera PMS is preferred.

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language. A third language is a plus.

Schedule & Hours:

Full time and seasonal contract. This position is required to work in shifts.

Successful candidates must hold legal authorization to work in Italy at the time of application.
