Saipem is a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore. Saipem is One Company organized into five business lines - Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions. The company has 8 fabrication yards and an offshore fleet of 23 construction vessels (of which 21 owned and 2 owned by third parties and managed by Saipem) and 15 drilling rigs, of which 8 owned. Within the Business Line Energy Carriers, the Civil department is looking for a Civil & Structural Lead in order to ensure the execution of the engineering activities within own area of responsibility, to work following the Technical Manager guidelines, to cooperate with the other Project positions and ensure the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

 Main Tasks:

  • Development of Technology know how and Commercial support
  • Bidding phase/Commercial proposal
  • Project Execution

Skills

  • Knowledge of Civil Engineering standard codes and regulations
  • Ability to collaborate within an international team; flexible approach to different audience; tenacity to ensure successful outcomes; curiosity and learning orientation

QUALIFICATION: Degree in Civil Engineering (appreciated is any structural specialization)

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Good knowledge of English language (at least level B2)

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years of experience in the same role in Engineering Companies working for Energy or O&G sector

IT SKILLS: Good Knowledge of Office package software (Microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point) 

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Decision Making
  • Problem solving
  • Good stress management

NICE TO HAVE: Well appreciated are experiences with BIM 3D Modelling activities coordination 

LOCATION: Milan (MI)

Availability to travel abroad in office or at site

Priority is given to the inclusion of protected categories.

Contract type: permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience
