Overview:The role of the RMO MBBS Duty Doctor is vital in providing medical care and support to patients in various healthcare settings. The duty doctor is responsible for ensuring highquality medical care effective patient management and accurate documentation of patient information.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting medical assessments and diagnosis of patients.
  • Providing timely and efficient medical care to patients in emergency and nonemergency situations.
  • Prescribing medication and treatment plans according to the patients condition.
  • Monitoring and recording patients vital signs and medical history.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate intervention as needed.
  • Adhering to medical ethics and legal regulations in all aspects of patient care.
  • Conducting regular rounds to assess and update patient treatment plans.
  • Communicating effectively with patients and their families regarding medical updates and treatment plans.
  • Participating in case discussions and providing input for complex medical cases.
  • Assisting in the implementation of patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to junior medical staff and support personnel.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed medical records and reports.
  • Participating in training and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • MBBS degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Valid medical license and registration to practice as a doctor.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in emergency medicine and patient triage.
  • Strong diagnostic and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and highpressure environment.
  • Sound knowledge of medical ethics confidentiality and legal requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Capability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Empathy compassion and a patientcentered approach to care.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and healthcare software.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and weekends.
