Overview:As an MBBS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) in Ludhiana you will play a crucial role in providing primary medical care and ensuring the wellbeing of patients. Your responsibilities will involve closely monitoring and treating patients working in collaboration with medical teams and ensuring adherence to medical protocols and standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to patients under the supervision of senior physicians.
  • Assess and document patient symptoms medical history and vital signs.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on patient needs and medical protocols.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with medical and nursing staff to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Ensure strict adherence to medical protocols standards and ethical practices.
  • Participate in rounds ward management and medical emergencies.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and postoperative care as required.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and updated medical records and documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Participate in medical research teaching and other departmental activities.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements in the healthcare setting.
  • Remain updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices in the field.
Required Qualifications:
  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical license and registration with the medical council.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant clinical experience preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology diagnoses and treatment procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound decisionmaking and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to handle medical emergencies with composure and efficiency.
  • Strong commitment to patient care empathy and compassion.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and be oncall as needed.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and medical software.
  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards in healthcare practice.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare laws regulations and best practices.
