Opportunity
We are looking for a BI and AI Specialist.
Objective of the position is to manage BI, Advanced Analytics, AI and ML services throughout their entire lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions
- Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
- User Training and support: deliver training sessions and support users
- Implement and maintain AI and machine learning models to enhance data analysis and business intelligence capabilities
- Stay updated with the latest AI and ML technologies and integrate them into existing BI solutions
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of working experience
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
- Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Knowledge of data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
- Proven track record of delivering BI solutions that drive business value
- Experience with AI and machine learning projects
- Fluency both in Italian and English
Management Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Nice to have:
- Professional experience as BI and AI Specialist in a consulting company or within the internal ICT department of medium/large companies
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a BI or data analysis role
