Eduardo Secci Gallery is seeking a service-oriented Sales Director to support the gallery team. As a Sales Director, you will identify and secure potential clients while nurturing existing clients. Additionally, as an Artist Liaison, you will serve as a creative and strategic liaison between artists and the Gallery.Overall Purpose of the Role:Communicate the Gallery’s values and philosophy to customersContinually monitor sales performanceRecognise and target new and suitable opportunities using proactive sales initiatives to generate new enquiriesWork with the Directors of both gallery venues in participating in national and international fairsPlan and coordinate events or exhibitionsClient account management and accurate event administrationIdentify, sign, manage and develop new artists across genres, with a data-driven mind and good editorial sense.Serve as a creative and strategic liaison between artists and the platformWork with the marketing team to plan and deliver marketing initiatives throughout the year and undertake proactive sales activities in line with this strategyCollaborate with suppliers and contractorsAssist with new hire onboarding and ongoing trainingTreat all customers with respect and cultivate an inclusive, service-minded work cultureWorking knowledge of Artlogic will be considered a plusWho you are:Steeped in sales experience, with 5+ years in a management position within a top art galleryEquipped with exceptional interpersonal skillsEager to learn new skillsAn upbeat and empathetic team playerDriven to do what it takes to be a top performer time and time again—and help your teammates reach their targets along the wayAble to bring a positive, fun energy to the workplace, even when working long hoursExcellent communication and negotiating skills, both written and verbalAbility to work with people across the organisation and at all levels, including demanding individuals#J-18808-Ljbffr
