Job Title & Purpose

Purpose of the Job: Within the project engineering team, you will be responsible for all electrical engineering deliverables and you will manage functionally the associated multi-metier team (Schematics & Apparatus and Mechanical routing).

Hierarchical: Train Electrical metier leader

Functional: Project Engineering Manager (PrEM)

Missions Performance Measurement:
  1. On time Delivery: Adhesion to baseline on Electrical studies delivery
  2. Adhesion rate to preferred part list
Responsibilities

Quality, Cost and Delivery of S&A and EHI deliverables as follow:

  1. Tender Phase:
    1. Carryover analysis (electrical product) from previous projects
    2. Budget and workload estimation
    3. Contributor of Engineering planning
    4. Responsible of Architecture definition: Equipment cubicle content, position, pathways, break zones
  2. Specification phase:
    1. Contributor on definition of scope of supply between Train and Sub-Systems
    2. Responsible for ENG electrical deliverables until SGR
  3. Next phases:
    1. Interface between Project and Center of Excellence electrical
    2. Responsible for baselining definition and inputs deliveries to CoE electrical
    3. Responsible for Harness integration

Operational management of S&A and EHI team allocated on the project. Ensure interfaces with Train System, Train Design, Train Control, RAMS, EMC expert, Industrialization Electrical. Managing internal and external activities (workload, planning, work package reviews, risks). Leading design reviews and deliverables reviews. Ensuring Baselining contents for his scope. Ensure follow-up with PrEM. Supporting continuous improvement of the domain with the Metier.

Job Specifications

Knowledge & Experience:

  1. Railways Electrical engineering knowledge
  2. Strong approach (hands-on experience is a plus) in electrical CAD (See One / Catia EHI)
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in activity/team management
  4. Train systems/functions/Industrialization & Manufacturing of harnesses knowledge
  5. Spoken and written English is mandatory
