Field Service Engineer

RVM Systems Italy are expanding and are now looking for several field service engineers. This to be ready to install and service thousands of RVMs when the deposit return scheme (DRS) will be launched in Italy. The field service engineer installs, maintains, services, and repairs RVM Systems reverse vending machines within Italy. Machines will soon be in retail stores throughout the country, and these machines allow customers to return their beverage cans and bottles.RVM Systems is a global leader in collection solutions for used beverage containers. The successful candidate will be a problem solver responsive to customers' needs.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall reverse vending machinesTrain store personnel in how to use the machinesPerform regular servicing and maintenanceAttend breakdowns and complete timely, professional repairs on-site.Submit accurate work reports via the provided electronic device.Maintain safety standards and complete regular housekeeping records.Complete on-site system audits and evaluations.Plan warehouse capacity plan in cooperation with Sales for storage/operationsMaintain spare parts storageComply with all Health & Safety requirementsEnsure our company equipment is kept secure at all timesKey Skills and Experience requirementsMinimum 3 years of experience as field service engineer – with installation and maintenanceGood IT knowledge and previous experience with Linux systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood knowledge of mechanical and electronic processesProficient in email and online platforms; capable of completing online inductions.Full driving licence.Expertise in mechanical, electrical, vending systems or ePOS network setup advantageousWorking HoursMonday to FridayWork on weekends and evenings when needed for installation and service is required.Flexible working arrangements are availableFully equipped company vanEmployees are provided with work phones, laptops, tools and workwearFuel card will be providedRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.Electrical experience (preferred)Mechanical experience (preferred).Applicants should ideally be located within the geographical region advertised.
