Our customer, a project driven Italian company part of an international listed Group, is currently looking for a:FINANCE DIRECTORThe resource will report to the Managing Director, and he/she will manage a finance team of 4 people.He/ she will be a key member of the Board, responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting and compliance matters for the companyAimSupport the MD in managing the CompanyEnsure timely financial reporting to the Group on a monthly basisEnsure revenue recognition and project accounting is done as per the Group guidelinesLead the adoption of practices to comply with the Group’s internal compliance controlsSupport the business operations from a financial & administrative point of viewBe part of the Board and play a crucial role in the development of the business both strategically and operationallyMain ResponsibilitiesAct as a hands-on finance leader with responsibility for oversight and protection of the financial integrity of the company and its assetsEnsure that the company’s accounts and records are properly maintained in line with Group accounting standards; deliver appropriate statutory, tax and regulatory reports and returns in required timeframes and formatsOversee all aspects of compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements as well as Group policiesPerform financial planning & analysis functions including strategic planning, competitive analysis, budgeting, forecasting and operational analyses to inform strategic and tactical decisions made by the companyProvide high quality management information, improving business insightsRequirements:Educated to Degree level, with a professional accounting qualificationRelevant professional experience in working in a project driven organization and application of IFRS15 revenue recognition principles in practiceIdeally experience with international finance requirements and being part of a larger and ideally listed group with a head office and Sector/Group functions located abroadDemonstrable experience as a Finance Director and operating at the board level or ready to advance into executive leadershipProficiency in MS Office tools, and experienced with ERP/business systemsPrevious knowledge and experience of leading peopleTeam player with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently and persuasively with a wide variety of people and cultures across the organizationPossess a forward-looking, hands-on approach with resilience and adaptabilityProven leader, operating as a commercially and operationally minded partnerCollaborative problem solver with strong relationship-building skills and high emotional intelligenceExcellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organizationAbility to set clear and challenging goals and objectives, underpinned by KPIs, with constructive accountabilityFluent in Italian and English a mustLocation : Monza Brianza/ Hybrid
