You will be responsible for solving operational challenges to our existing fleet to improve the current customer experience as well as developing improved systems for future designs. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalentExperience with server, storage, networking, or large‑scale distributed systemsExperience developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test proceduresExperience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysisExperience leading ODMs and other suppliers in the product development and manufacturing processesPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical fieldExperience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to productionExpertise in product development disciplines such as thermal, mechanical, power, firmware/software, reliability, and sustainingExperience deploying and operating hardware and applications across large data centersCompensationThe base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $257,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
