Learn more about this role and how you can begin driving your career forward Primary Purpose of Role We’re looking for a Production Planning Specialist in Reggio Emilia . Reporting to the Material Planning Manager, the new resource will be part of the planning team in Reggio Emilia site. Opportunity to work in a young, dynamic and professional environment. Great possibilities to deal with all the advanced processes of Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Handles troubleshooting and releases production schedules to the shop floor to manage and facilitate the daily and/or weekly planning handshake meetings with Production/Operations Management for assigned production area. Deviation tracking where applicable Line stoppage risk and shortage escalations Competencies and Behaviors Education: University master degree - Industrial Engineer/Economics (Preferred) Professional background: Preferably acquired 1+ years of experience in complex manufacturing Knowledge to perform Capacity Requirements Planning, including the setup and maintenance of work centers and on-going analysis of outputs Knowledge to manage daily production plans in order to Contribute to increase customer On Time Delivery Considered as a plus: Good level of written and spoken English Skills include attention to detail, commitment to excellence, strong ERP depth of knowledge Allison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
