Multi-site People Partner

Role SummaryThe multi‑site People Partner is the HR leader responsible for our 4 industrial paper bags plants in Italy (~280 employees growing in the provinces of Bergamo (x2), Macerata, and Catania). She / he will lead a small team to help drive a positive & productive culture, build an environment of trust and accountability, and deliver HR excellence and process improvement. This role is the primary point of contact for the managers and employees and provides expertise and guidance in the areas of culture and performance and talent management, talent development and learning, compensation, conflict management, employee relations and leadership coaching. The multi‑site People Partner executes the HR strategy in support of the client’s business objectives and the Mondi HR strategy & objectives and is a connected partner for the sites leadership teams.Serve as a strong functional partner to the MD and to drive cohesive decision‑making, foster collaboration, and drive the development and execution of key HR initiatives that align with business goals and Mondi HR strategyProvide dedicated guidance and coaching to managers and employees with specific focus on employee advocacy / engagement, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations as appropriateProvide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to relevant stakeholders.Partner closely with the MD, HR Business Partners, Country / Regional HR Leaders and HR CoE professionals to drive a cohesive and aligned HR agenda and execute business‑specific HR strategiesProvide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environmentPartner with Country / Regional HR leader and HR CoE’s to align on and execute relevant HR projects or initiatives as needed across multiple client groups at the two sitesProvide guidance and leadership for all union / works council relations PMP and ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolvedEnsure all HR matters are handled fairly and consistently with local laws, regulations and our company compliance regulationsMaintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and careOverall responsibility includes communication responsibility of the sites.Your QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in a Human Resources related areaMinimum of 10 years of professional work experience in a client support HR role preferably in an industry environmentAt least 5 years of experience in a Human Resources client support roleSound knowledge of union / employee relations and works council management as well as local labor laws and government requirementsDeveloped (oral and written) communication and diplomacy skill set with the ability to influence others by presenting sound and logical arguments tailored to the audienceHands‑on self‑starter who has a demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and work independently while being able to effectively navigate and partner in a matrix environmentStrong problem‑solving skills and capable of handling multiple issues and / or projects simultaneously and executing to completionExcellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skillsPassionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeedApproachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levelsStrong customer service focus, with a high level of responsivenessSupportive team with a strong drive to create a positive work environment; ability to diffuse a tense situationStrong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvementNative Italian speaker and fluent English, both written and spokenAdditional InformationStart: as soon as possibleEmployment type: full‑time, unlimitedMobile phone for employeesLearning & DevelopmentParkingPublic transportation nearbyReferral programGet in touchWe strive to create a culture that inspires our people to reach their full potential.
