Joining us means joining a truly global community of 36300 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.The candidate, as a part of the Sub-System train team, is responsible for a complete system like:HVAC, external and internal doors, fire protection, bogie etc.He/she will be in charge of integrationand validation ofthesub-system in thetrain.He/she will manage some R&D Work packages, propose and drive Sustaining Plan (Second Source, Management of Obsolescence, Redesign to Cost, New development), c ollectand formalizereturn of experience related on solution.He/she will be responsible for managingsystemrequirements and development with supplier and customer (Internal and external Units) during all phases of the project.Responsibilities Manages project requirements and systemdevelopment with suppliers and customers during all phases of the projectPrepares Design Reviewwith suppliers (sub-system/product level) or with Train System Engineer(train/product integration level)Ensures the quality of the deliverablesManages the technical Sub-System Project Single List Issues/Risk Analysis Mitigation PlanEnsures that standard key design rules are applied with Platform and Sourcing colleaguesEnsures that the specific tools are well appliedSupports the sites if requested on critical technical issues for actual and past projectsReports the progress of the project (meetings, weekly/regular report)She/he is in charge of managing its work package and budgetSupport the foreign sitesfor relations with national customersEducational Requirements and skills Mechanical or Energy Engineer degreeExperience on design, in railway vehicles or automotive domain is preferredGood communication skills, pro-activity, team working, strategic visionReadines to travelFrench conversational/reading advanced level is a plusWe believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is a lever to running a sustainable and successful business.
