As a Sales Area Manager, you'll aim to achieve sales and pricing goals in the area(s) of responsibility in accordance with sales/ marketing plans in order to achieve long term growth. Direct commercial, sales and technical support activities consistent with overall sales strategy. The primary focus of the area manager is to develop sales and manage a sales force. The area manager has a particular focus on Top Customers.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of the Strategic Sales Plan in terms of volumes, product mix, profit and distribution networkDeliver sales and pricing as defined in the budget for the area, channel or segment in chargeImplement the product and market segment strategy, defining the specific objectives and targets for the geographical areaNegotiate trading terms with customers which meet volume and pricing goalsKeep abreast of market and trade conditions and competitor activity in order to revise and develop strategies to meet changing customer requirementsEnsure that technical teams and other parties involved on the client contract understand fully the product development requirements of the customerEnsure total customer satisfaction level (quality, technical and delivery time) in his areaLay down and manage a decisive and efficient sales and distribution organisation, and appoint, manage and develop a well-motivated and efficiently staffed organizationRequirementsMinimum 5 years sales and sales management experienceSales planning skillsBusiness Intelligence analysisKey Account and distributors management sales experienceGood MS Office knowledgeGood knowledge of EnglishPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
