Lear Corporation’s Grugliasco Engineering Center is a key hub in the global development of advanced automotive seating systems and interior technologies. Here, cross-functional teams design, validate, and industrialize products that go into vehicles around the world — working closely with major OEMs, international partners, and suppliers. Role Overview As a Electrical Engineer you will play a central role in transforming ideas into real products that meet customer expectations for performance, safety, quality, and cost. You lead technical development across the product lifecycle — from design solutions to testing, validation, and production readiness. This role is practical, collaborative, and impactful, with opportunities to influence product decisions and work directly with customers and suppliers. Core Responsibilities Lead technical development of electrical components (mainly wire‑harness) Translate customer specifications into reliable and compliant solutions Coordinate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams Support testing, analysis, and design reviews Manage engineering changes and technical documentation Work with suppliers and customer to ensure product and process readiness Participate in continuous improvement activities What You’ll Bring Technical degree and technical background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics with basis of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Engineering At least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry Ability to read technical drawings such as wiring diagrams, system, or dimensional drawings Ability to build wire harness prototypes Experience with vehicle bus systems like CAN & LIN Knowledge of Product Life Cycle and DFMEA, PFMEA, DFA/DFM is required, as well as proficiency in MS Office, PLM, Cad SW Good command of English, fluent Italian High motivation, flexibility, goal orientation, and reliability Work effectively in cross‑functional teams Analytical, structured, and independent working style Hands‑on approach and ability to manage multi‑stakeholder activities Strong analytical mindset, problem solving, and organization skills Confidence working with technical specifications and test data Availability to travel Why Lear Grugliasco ✔ Work on real automotive products used globally ✔ Connect with global teams and customers ✔ Growth opportunities in engineering and product leadership ✔ Collaborative, hands‑on environment ✔ Exposure to advanced development processes and tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
