Hardware Development leader, OneMHS MHE Hardware Job ID: | Amazon.com Services LLC Amazon's Material Handling Engineering team is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a startup‑style R&D team focused on defining and delivering the next generation of material handling equipment across our global distribution network. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering, managing a team responsible for standardizing product specifications, assessing OEM capabilities, and when needed, leading the design, testing, and commercialization of Amazon‑focused solutions. As Sr. Manager, you will be a key leader for fast‑moving, large, complex material handling systems. You will independently manage a team proficient in communicating effectively to a wide audience including other engineers, external vendors, customer organizations, and business leaders. You will establish mechanisms to measure and improve results and develop scalable solutions across the network. Compensation and Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
