The role involves working primarily in English and German; knowledge of Italian would be an advantage. The position offers a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.Let\'s Go, together We offer a dynamic environment where individual contributions and inventions are valued and provide opportunities for training and self-development.ResponsibilitiesReviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements and transaction documents in compliance with applicable policies and legal and ethical standards, with minimal supervisionResponding, within established guidelines, to customers’ RFP/RFQs, vendor qualification documents and contractual requestsAligning with customers, using appropriate contractual language to reflect the business interests and policies of the partiesTaking the Contracts Lead role on more complex projects and frame agreements as experience developsWorking with customers, members of the legal team and other Emerson partners to bring deals to closureAnalyzing business, financial, and legal risksResearching information on existing agreements and contractual programs, assisting with analysis and compiling data for reportsProviding contract-related guidance to Sales, Project Management and other partnersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience2-4 years of professional background in a contracts-focused positionIntermediate MS Office skillsExcellent oral and written English and German language skills; Italian and other languages are an advantageExcellent negotiation skillsPreferred QualificationsExtensive knowledge of Contract law & principlesCommercial provisions such as warranty, liquidated damages/penalties, payment & freight terms, documentary credits and bank guarantees/suretiesCompletion of IACCM Contract and Commercial Management (CCM) Training Program to Practitioner LevelExperience in a complex Matrix organizationAdditional language skillsOur Culture & Commitment to YouAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
